Will your hotel provide a shuttle service?

I’m in a similar situation.  The venue is only 5 miles from the hotel.  We’re chartering buses for all guests to use but I don’t know what we’ll do with the wedding party and ourselves.  I’m just inclined to hop on the bus with all of the guests at the end of the reception.  Why waste $300+ for a 10 minute ride?  Doesn’t seem practical to me!

Consider inquiring about a "transfer" service from a limo company (one-way service). Also inquire at your hotel’s concierge whether they have something they can help contract for you at a discounted rate or maybe even a house car.

We called a local motor club of antique cars. They are having a caravan for free take us from where we are getting ready to the ceremony/reception sight. Give them an excuse to show off their babies!!! Plus the wives have really gotten into the decoration ideas. Good luck!

You didn’t say where your wedding was located exactly, but you could call a town car to drive you to the ceremony, it is much cheaper than a limo.
