Eek! Good to know. I'm sure email coupons are much more cost-effective for them than printing them in the paper...
I have given them my email a million times and I have yet to get coupons from them. I don't know why. I used to get them up unitl about a year ago, and then poof, they were gone.
I get coupons in my email because I registered with them or signed up or whatever they call it on their website. Then I print out as many as I can use before they expire! Good luck, ladies!
Yea I registered on their website as well. I always forget to print them out though!
Ooo! For those of you with iPhones or a Blackberry or any smart phone that can pull up a website, you can pull the coupons up on your phone and use them that way without printing them out!! Same for Hobby Lobby!!
@pieceacake: I didn't know that?! Thanks for the tip! How environmentally friendly. =)
I've done it many, many times!!! I like to think I'm saving a tree here and there :)
Great tip! FYI, there's a 40% off (total purchase) in the current issue of MSWeddings!
You can print them out online, too, if they are not emailing them to you. Just google "Michael's Coupon" and you'll find a ton of them.
Thanks for the tip! I need to go to Michael's this weekend!
Can you use JoAnn's coupons at Michaels? I know that JoAnn's will take competitor coupons but I don't know if Michaels or Hobby Lobby will.
@Chillmer - yes Michaels does take competitor coupons. They just run them one at a time. So if you have 3 coupons for 40% off from Jo-Anns, you'll have 3 transactions.
And one thing I learned at Jo-Ann's - they only take competitor coupons for things that both stores have. I bought fabric at Jo-Ann's and tried to use my 60% off Michaels coupon, but since Michaels doesn't carry fabric, I couldn't. Totally bummed. So, I pulled out my 40% off coupon from Jo-Anns
I don't really mind not having them in the paper since I use the e-mail coupons primarily anyway. This week though I'll be using Joann coupons because they sent me a dozen in the mail and then I don't have to both printing anything out.
I'm not sure if there is an American equivalent to this site, but in Canada, you can use flyerland.ca and print out a 40% off coupon for Michaels anytime, and as many as you would like.
That's what I use when I don't want to wait for the emailed coupon. :)

The cashier asked me for me email today (which has never happened before) and I asked why...get ready Bee's....no more coupons in the paper! They are transitioning to to sending coupons out via email, so if you still want your coupons, give your email when they ask!
