My husband and I were sharing a hotel room for a business trade show we both had to attend. It’s about 10pm and I’m cuddled up in bed waiting for DH to get done in the bathroom. I hear a little commotion in the bathroom but brushed it off. Then DH steps out of the bathroom with this traumatized look on his face and says, “So here I thought you were being sweet and brought a travel size tooth paste. I start brushing my teeth and realize it was CREAMY and not BUBBLY! I turn over the tube and read ‘Cortizone Anti-Itch Cream with Cooling Power’ and my mouth started going numb!!”
At this point I practically rolled out of bed laughing and crying while he is sarcastically laughing.
In his defense, when the toothpaste tube and Cortizone tube are both turned over they do look quite alike!
So now when I read product labels and wonder “Who would ever mistakenly ingest this stuff??” Now I know. . .
PS – The cortisone was for my allergy rashes/hives.
