i have a question and would like some feedback in regards! my boyfriend and i have been shopping for wedding rings and i know exactly what i want however do you all think its bad if we just went to the store and got our rings and boom were engaged? or should it be an actual purposal? i honeslty dont care either way would be nice but im still skeptical about not having that moment.. what do you all think?!
thanks fellow bee gals!

Agrimaldo1409: Whatever works for you guys. My FI and I picked out my ring together ahead of time, and started planning and I told him he didn’t have to propose but he said he wanted to. Otherwise I wouldn’t have cared. I just want to marry him, the rest is all details. 🙂

We went and picked ours out together and picked it up when it came in. Before it came in i did tell him, the proposal was on him though, just to make it romantic and just with the two of us. when we picked it up, the salesperson asked if I wanted to wear it and I just said “Nope, there’s a proposal he needs to do first”. He proposed a month later.
So I think you need to tell him what you would like (trust me – guys are NOT mind readers).

Agrimaldo1409: yes. Once we ordered the stone and picked out the ring it was supposed to be a surprise from then on out but they did a different design on the ring then we had picked and he wanted to make sure it was okay so he showed me before he had it set. I ended up loving it even more than what we had picked so he had it set and proposed rigt after at home. It was perfect! 🙂

Me and my SO just picked an engagement ring out today, in fact! We’ve always talked about getting married and after 3 and a half years together we felt it was time to settle down.
The ring is being made in the next 6-8 weeks which will coincide with my 29th birthday so he has 2 months to plan how to propose to me! I’m already looking forward to it. It just depends if you would like him to surprise you with a proposal. Every couple is different. Good luck! 😀
