    MissACS    March!

My family all got BCC'd on an email this morning asking what they want for Christmas and to tell me ASAP because between work, a lawsuit and wedding planning... I've got precious little time for poking through piles of sweaters at Macy's.  I know it totally comes off as a jerk, but they hem and haw and then I get a "Oh I guess I'll take cash."

Find something they will enjoy based on their personal hobbies and interests. If you don't even know what those are (which they are something that people do find out immediately after meeting someone) then bake something they'll like.

Yeah, I feel you on that.  My FH and I decided we were going to spend half a Saturday at a mall picking up various gift cards for people for their Christmas present.  Tough poo if they don't like it, we are throwing a fabulous party the week after Christmas, and they get to drink all they want there, lol.  I'm half tempted to just get them all cards that say the open bar at the wedding is their Christmas gift!

For the past many years, my fiance's holiday gifts have consisted of liquor. He goes to the liquor store, spends about $300-400 on booze, and is done. It takes about a half hour, and really, who's going to turn down a bottle of Grey Goose (or liquor of their choice)? It's perfect! This year, we're doing liquor and cookies (because I love to bake, and really, who turns down cookies :) ). It's even more perfect!

    MissACS    March!

They got luggage! Because we're off to my wedding in March and I know they are all "luggage borrowers" when they travel.  Thanks to Kohls Black Friday sale and a 15%
off coupon on top of that, now they have their own. :)
