So I ordered my dress this weekend (yay!). It is a Tara Keely gown. Ever since I tried it on for the first time, I’ve searched for other brides who have purchased the gown (on blogs, boards, used wedding dress sites, etc.) to see it on another real bride. No dice. Is this a good or bad sign? It’s a Fall 2010 style, so I don’t think it’s so new that no one has had a chance to wear it yet. Are there any other brides with less popular gowns?

Nobody has my dress. Maybe dresses that aren’t advertised as much don’t get purchased as much? I sure hope that’s all it means.
Please post your dress!!

I dont think it really matters who has worn the dress before. Can you post some pics of it?

Here are some pictures from the website (I got the “opal” sash):

Some times there are advantages to having a popular dress such as getting to see many of real brides in your dress, but its also nice to know that your one of the few people that will ever wear that dress.

Your dress is gorgeous!
I wouldn’t worry – in the 18 months between buying my dress and the wedding, I only saw ONE bride with my dress!

It’s stunning and that’s all that matters!!!

I feel the same way. Mine is discontinued so I knew it would be harder to find people in my dress but I haven’t found a single one… ANYWHERE! Kinda frustrates me because I want to see real life brides in my gown! So, I feel ya.

I havent seen mine yet either, which is kinda scarry since I’ve had second thoughts about it the whole time. But I guess what matters is that we felt like that was the dress at the time for us, and we will feel the same on our wedding days…as long as we dont keep looking and finding something we like better 🙂 Were unique!!!

Ironically, the only bride I saw with my dress was the one who tried to use my pictures of myself in the dress to sell her dress. That was a bit creepy, but she took down that ad immediately after I asked her to.

Yeah, there aren’t any pics of real brides in my dress, either (at least as far as google images knows). Oh well – it looks good on me!

THAT is an AMAZING dress!

No one has my dress because it is from a fall 2007 line! Oh well I love it and can’t wait until it comes in

I’ve never seen a pic of anyone with my dress either. All I know is it looks great on me, and that’s all that matters!

I’ve never seen anyone with my dress either…on the one hand, it’s a nice kind of validation to see that someone else forked over money for the same dress. On the other hand, now I don’t have to look at another person in my dress and think, “Oh man, it looks better on her!” 😉 Hah!
