i’m kinda stressing out. i bought an outift earlier in the week. a cute floral dress, cardigan, and belt. it went perfect with our vintagey theme. but the print is small and apparently you aren’t supposed to wear small print clothing for engagement photos. so i went back to the drawing board and spent hours scouring the mall for something, anything and i came up empty-handed…being short stinks! 🙁 is it really that bad to wear a small print or do i wear a normal outfit of jeans and a spring sweater?

Why can’t you wear small print? I never heard this before. Did you ask your photographer?
I would rock the dress you bought and intended to wear, i’m sure it will look great. Can you share a pic of it?

i wore a floral print dress for e-session last week and my photographer said to wear whatever makes you feel sexy and beautiful. dont worry so much about the photo bc really in some pics, you wont even see it. I was worried about the print too but they turned out great and im really happy i wore that outfit.

I think floral print would be just fine. I would just wear it 🙂

Most likely you’ll be fine. I work alongside a photographer, a print can distract from other things in your photos. but if your surrounding environment is simple, and doesn’t have a ton of different colors, you’ll be ‘a-OK’. Black and white photos look great with printed outfits!

I wore stripes for my STD pics and they turned out just fine! Wear your dress!

OK thank you ladies, I will wear the outfit! But just in case I will I’ll bring a back up outfit. Thank you!!! I am definitely less stressed now.

so after all the worrying, i woke up sunday morning and just felt icky. there was no way i was putting on a dress. i ended up in jeans, flats, a shirt & cardigan. poor fiancee was like well now whawt do i wear! so after thirty min or so i said just put on whatever you’d put on to go out to brunch and walk around the city and i’ll do the same. without knowing what the other was putting on we coordinated really well. go figure!
