There is no private space at our reception venue.  No back room/bridal suite/office/kids classroom or coat closet!  (Actually there are.. but we're not allowed to use them)  The only space is reserved for our caterer.  Where the heck am I suppose to put personal items like bags, purses etc?

I don't want to bring to much if there isn't any room but a brides gotta have her emergency kit right?!? lol  I don't want to have to shove it in a corner or leave in in the car.

It's funny how the perfect venue for a great rate can have tiny faults like this you didn't forsee.

For my friend's wedding this was a similar issue. She had me sneak into the ballroom before everyone came in and put a bag under the table. It's not ideal but it doesn't sound like you have much choice either. Good Luck

we actually put our emergency kit under our table because the floor-length tablecloths hid it. i guess we could have also put it under the cake table. are you going to have a dj? would he/she be willing to let you keep a little box of stuff by the dj station?

We kept everything in the car and I had a purse with the essentials that my MIL held during the ceremony.  We couldn't leave anything inside because there was a restaurant that was open and people might have stolen stuff.

I say either under the table or in the car would be your best options.

Good question. I am pretty sure my venue is the same way—no bridal private area. Your bag should be fine at your table. Do you have an event coordinator who may be able to offer suggestions?

If you do have to store it in the corner or something, maybe someone can come up with a cute way to kinda disguise it.  Maybe in a basket with a lid or something?
