So I was looking up Macys on this site.. and there are a lot of people who seem to have had problems with registering with them ( items going out of stock.. backordered.. etc) These posts all seem to be from 2-4 years ago though I think one was from 2011..
I would just like to let eveyrone know we had so MUCH FUN registering at Macys.
With the gun we probbaly scanned about 40 items.. the lady was so helpful and she even took the time to redo my china registering for me because I scanned each part of the place setting seperately rather than just registering for the desired number of 5 piece settings ( oops!)
After coming home we went online and found about another 20 items we decided to add. 9some available only online some also in store)
We registered in February for a shower knew would be coming up in April or May ( It was on 4/15– surpise!)
In March we did have two items that came up with the message “We’re always adding to our assortment to offer you the widest selection of exciting new products. To make room, we’re discontinuing this item and it may soon be unavailable for purchase. “
This message was for our Keurig carousel and customizable K-Cup– both which we left on.. both which are available in the store.. both which came back in stock online.. and both which we received at our shower.
Post shower- our cookware ( which we did get) is also showing this message as of yesterday.
I cant help but wonder.. is it just a false alarm like the Keurig one?
Either way it doesnt matter for us since we got it already.. but for June/ July brides whose shower is in May/June this May be a problem!

3 place settings – 1 vegetable bowl- 2 sets of four piece china mugs set
2 hand towels 4 bath towels
2 crystal vases ( vera wang Duchess- love it) – 1 crystal bown
1 suace pan ( no message here- same maker)
1 burger bites pan -1 vacuum
sheet set and pillowcases
