Fiance and I were set on a venue in Cape Ann though we hadn’t made the final decision yet, then we came across a gorgeous venue that appears to be cheaper and (nearly) all-inclusive. We checked out reviews here and on other sites and read nothing but good things. We were so excited that I sent an email inquiry explaining our interests and asking for information. We had more questions to ask so Fiance called and left a message with an associate.
That was days ago. We thought perhaps because it was approaching the weekend that they were busy with other weddings, but now it’s Tuesday and still no word. I really wanted to hear from them, but I’m starting to wonder if this is a bust and we won’t get the attention we expect for our (albeit small) wedding. Any thoughts on this is totally appreciated.

I hate to be pessimistic, but I’m of the opinion that vendors should have a 2-3 day response time AT MOST. I know some are busier than others, but even a quick “I am busy, but will respond soon” would be helpful! If your heart is set on it, try a follow-up phone call. You can tell a lot by phone conversations too. Remember, YOU’RE doing THEM a favor by making them a possibility! Good luck!

i’d try calling them and seeing how that goes. i’m sure they get a lot of info requests so it’s hard for them to weed out people who are genuinely super interested and ready to book from someone who’s grazing. that being said, if they’re still lackluster, i’d move on! there’s nothing more frustrating than a vendor ignoring you! >:|

Thanks for the responses. Fiance will call again tomorrow. I hope we get someone and some info.

I’d probably give them the rest of the week, but after that if I didn’t hear anything I would pursue something else.
