I have been trying to find a dress and have messaged a dressmaker on Etsy (not the Chinese knock-off kind) and also a seller on OnceWed.
I haven’t heard from the Etsy mechant since Sat and haven’t heard anything from the OnceWed who i messaged yesterday.
My question is when you inquire abour a potential sale for a wedding dress, how long is it until you typically hear back? I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, so I don’t have the best gauge of being able to tell when I’m being totally overzealous and extremely impatient.
Any feedback and/or experiences are welcome! Thanks 🙂

@helpmeimpoor: I usually give it 2 or 3 business days. Sometimes I’ll give it a week if I know it’s not their full-time job. It was a long weekend here in Canada, so I’d give them both another 2 days just in case, then maybe look elsewhere. I hope they get back to you soon!

It’s not you, sweetie. Not at all. The decline of professionalism across all business is far too apparent these days.
We were not getting responses either, so after a week, we took this approach. I, as MOB, would rein in all the stragglers with phone calls and emails til I got an answer from each one of them. Believe me, it was time consuming. That’s why the bride didn’t do it — I did. But after a week, assume your inquiry is either ignored, lost, or in limbo. You have to prod them.
