- Wedding: August 2012
My fiance’s cousin is getting married in a few weeks. She did not include a RSVP card with her invitation. The wedding is a pretty casual wedding as far as weddings go, so I don’t think she wants a super formal, handwritten response as dictated by “proper” etiquette. I asked my soon to be Mother-In-Law what to do (it is her sister’s daughter) and she said she wasn’t sure, and that she hadn’t looked closely enough at the invitation to check for an RSVP card.
I feel funny not RSVPing in some way, but I don’t know the bride or groom well (they live 10 hours from us).
Should I facebook message her? Is that too informal? I don’t know her phone number, and I feel funny writing a formal note ( I did it already, but I’m afraid to send it as I don’t want to look like a sticklar for that kind of thing).
