We are actually buying ours from Men's Wearhouse - the rental price for the Jim's Alfresco was going to be about $130, so the guys voted to spend the $175 to buy their suits.
Was just in a wedding where the groom rented his from Friar Tux, which is a chain. Most big tux places will offer at least one tan suit to rent.
You're right about the color...who knew "tan" had so many variations.
Do some online researching, but also call some of the bigger chains because they won't always offer it online.
Selix rents a tan suit... it has subtle stripes. There is a retailer in Sonoma "Eraldi's" that rents Selix stuff...
I was going to suggest Friar Tux as well.....I know they have tan suits becuase we looked at them.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We would like to rent a tan suit. In Southern California (and Seattle, Phili, New Jersey, all over the country) there are shops affiliated with Savvi Formalwear that carry three different "tan" suit rentals. This is huge as most places (MensWearhouse) do not rent suits, just tuxes. However, we are getting married in Sonoma - it is a destination wedding for everyone - and they don't have Savvi Formalwear affiliated stores in Northern California. Does anyone know where I can rent a tan suit? We were already told about Jim's Formalwear (they service stores all over the US), but their tan suit (called "Alfresco") - isn't really tan. It is more of a grey.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
