HAHA hmmm, I am the opposite. I go and go and go and then eventually I keel over. FI and I are vampires. Up for two days, down for one. I have to force myself to try and sleep. It's not easy though...your body sounds super picky! Thats nuts.
My case isn't this extreme, but I definitely need my sleep too. Last night FI didn't come home from work until 2:30 and I stayed up waiting for him (another unfortunate sleeping quirk I have - hard to fall asleep without him there). So today I am also dead to the world :)
i need my sleep or i get a migraine. and i need to be on a consistent schedule, like i have to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.... my college life wasn't any fun either! my friends would be out all night and sleeping in on weekends and i'd be in bed by 10 and waking up early.
@artbee: I also get "weekend headaches." I have to go to bed early on weekends for the most part and wake-up no more than an hour later, or I get horrible headaches.
My mom teases me because I'm a 26-year-old with the heath problems of an elderly woman, haha.
I am just like this now! FI makes fun of me, he doesn't understand how not getting enough sleep could possibly make me nauseous... I guess I don't really understand how it ends up that way either, but it does. I didn't have this problem in college, only within the last two years. I try to get to bed by 10 every night so that i can be up by 6:30 the next morning. I don't know how people function on 6 hours or less of sleep each night, I could never do it. I wonder how I'll handle having kids keeping me up at night, EEP!
I am the same way! I always have been! If I don't get a full 8 hours every night, you can bet that I will start getting sick in the next few days. College was hell for me! I was sick ALL the time!
Phew. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! I've asked all my friends and family about this, and no one can relate!

I've been like this since High School, but I'm so curious if anyone else has this happen to them.
I need my eight hours of sleep a day. Like, if I get seven, I'm SO tired the next day (like, exhausted), and if I get six or less, I get physically sick (nausea and vomitting), and it doesn't go away until I take a nap or something. It's awful. I've asked my doctor about it on several occasions, and I've had some tests done, but she seems to think I'm just one of those people that needs 8-9 hours every night because it NEVER happens when I get enough sleep, and she can't find anything wrong with me.
Is anyone else like that? I'm on seven hours today and I'm pretty much dead to the world. I have to be so careful about getting enough sleep. You can imagine how fun I was in college! :)
