I was surprised at how many positive comments I have been getting on my e-ring. More along the lines of that is so unusual I love that or that means so much more that you put that thought into it. Some people still don’t get it, but the closest we came was Future Mother-In-Law looking at it and not saying anything. I think because of the color she is doubting it is what we said it is.
My stone is an Aqua and it is FI’s birthstone. I wanted a blue stone, and it worked out perfectly that way. My dream stone would be a Natural Blue Diamond, but with the carat, cut, and clarity I would want it is way out of our price range (more than I make in a year). So we talked to our jeweler and he found us a rarer colored Aqua and made a ring I love. It is something simple I can wear every day and not have to worry about, my style is not for everyone but it is ME. 🙂
And here is my beauty jsut because I can (Need some new ring pron)
Anyone else have stories to share?

What is not to love about a gorgeous gem?! I love it!

My center stone is a sapphire! I love it and so has everyone else who has seen it. Probably because they know my favourite color is blue! They also know I’m likely to put them in their places firmly if they say something off color, so that could probably also be it as well. 🙂
Your ring is beautiful!

Colored stones are my preference

You only hear negative responses online I think. No one has ran away in horror at the fact that I don’t have a diamond. Your ring is beautiful!

Awwww ty all!!! I guess since I do spend most of my time on here and hear all the horror stories I was expecting a much worse reaction. I was honestly surprised that so many poeple were positive and was wondering if maybe there were more happy stories than horror stories out there. 🙂
