I made little terrariums that light up.  It’s made from an old pickle jar, a disposable salad dressing cup, scraps of cardstock, an LED tea light, and some moss.  These cost me less than $2 to make.

What style/theme/colors are you using? It’s easier to give ideas if we can do so in context.

Candles and books come to mind. You can choose books for their subject matter, their titles, the color of the cover etc.

Books can be covered with maps for a travel theme or a couple who like to travel

I LOVE this, but I haven’t been able to find the big martini glasses at a good price. It could definitely be done without flowers.
