I have metal allergies but have pierced ears! You can pierce your ears if you use gold or silver earrings only. And if you are allergic clips too will be a problem (the problem is the metal not the piercing).

Me too! I have spent way longer searching for clip-on earrings than my gown. It seems that clip-on = gaudy. I posted an "alchemy" request on etsy to try to find someone to make ones for me but since I would like pave/crystal it's a little hard to get them handmade. Swarorski carries a few but they are expensive. The department stores have a few and I saw a couple at Claire's. Then there are a few websites cliptomania and crazy4clipons but I'm hesitant to order earrings in the mail.
If you like a vintage glam look, you might want to check out costume jewelry at antique stores. It used to be much more popular to wear clip-ons than to have pierced ears for women of my grandmother's generation. There's some great vintage stuff out there for very reasonable prices because so few people still wear clip-ons. I'll be wearing these cool sparkly ones that belonged to my grandmother in the 60s and I haven't seen anything new out there like them.

Anyone else have non pierced ears and having problems finding cute earrings to go with your dress? I cant pierce my ears because of my metal allergies, so i always wear clips. easy enough to find simple stud clips but for cute earrings, yeah not so much...
any ideas???
