I am having the hardest time finding pre-marital counseling that is not done by a minister! I thought that this would be a pretty easy find, but I guess I was wrong. It isn’t required since we are being married by a friend of ours who is qualified for civil ceremonies, but it just seems like a good idea. We want to fix any potential problems before they surface in our relationship. Anybody have any advice for finding a counselor?

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d: Have you looked for marriage and family therapists in your area? That might be the best place to start looking.

Have you thought about just couples’ counseling? I’d look for psychologists in your area– I’m sure someone who specializes in marriage and family therapy could put together some sort of premarital counseling plan.

Hello, I am a non-denominational minister that offers non-denominational premarital counseling. I can work with couples long-distance no problem. Check my website for more information http://minister.revolutionwed.com -Minister Staci
