Ugh! I'm having the same issue... BUT a friend of mine sent this link to me yesterday. She got her officiant from there.. Let me know if you have any luck :)
Maybe try one of these:

Humanism is secular. My Humanist officiant charges under $300 (I can't remember exactly how much).
@kim14410: I e-mailed them just now. Honestly, I asked the bride if she considered having a friend get "ordained" online and then having me write the script. Finding the correct words is the hardest part, but that is what the internet is for!
@Kathleen529: I considered that also.. My sister is actaully ordained (but honestly who isnt) haha and a very very close family friend is also.. But he didnt feel comfortable doing it.. Anyways.. let me know if they email you back.. I actaully sent them an email today aswell for myself :)
Im in need of the SAME thing! Also in Spring Lake and the same budget. I'm glad I found this post!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
Bride's BFF and maid of honor here. My task: finding an officiant.
Non-religious
Short ceremony at B&B (15 mins)
Affordable ($300 or less)
Script is already written!
Woman prefered, but not necessary.
This couple is going for a vintage theme. They are in their late 20s but own a home together already.
Any suggestions on an officiant in central NJ?
THANKS!
