I didn’t! The only thing I knew before I went dress shopping was that I did not want strapless. This simplified my dress search immensely as it eliminated about 95% of all the dresses out there. I did actually try one (just to be a good sport) at the insistence of the girl at the bridal salon, but I hated it on me. I think they look great on some people, but I’m just not a strapless kind of girl. 🙂

I’m definitely not wearing a strapless dress. While I have the neck and shoulders to actually pull off the look, I do not feel comfortable in anything strapless, especially in front of family.

I’m not. I tried some on, and liked a few, but I prefer straps. I just feel like they are more flattering and lengthening.

This is the dress I chose:

Not me – Not me – Not me Tongue out My dress does have straps, they are quite delicate so when I go for my first fitting I’ll be sure to mention my concern…Here is a pic….

I didn’t.  Here’s a picture.  It’s just one my sister took, but gives the idea.

I’m having short sleeves added to my dress!  It’s really full on the bottom and it usually comes strapless on the top, but that felt so wrong to me, especially considering the very Victorian-inspired feel of it. So sleeves it is.

I refused to wear strapless because to be honest I’m kinda sick of it. About 85% of dresses are strapless so it did make shopping difficult!
