I think the date night idea is wonderful, especially if you don’t really “need” a ton of the stuff on your registry. If you’re already settled and  your registry is a lot of stuff you’d like but aren’t super important then I’d totally go for the fun date night theme. Definitely gives a lot more room for creativity and thoughtfulness.

I think the date night idea is really cute and creative. I would go with that or a traditional shower. The Make-up shower seems a little too focused on the bride. I know showers are usually all about the bride, but I feel like the gifts should at least be something both of you can use and enjoy.

I think any of those sound nice – but the Date Night theme is my favorite, if you don’t care about getting less registry items. I’m really just a fan of couples showers in general. We’re having a laidback backyard Jack n Jill shower and I’m pretty excited about it!

Id go with option 1 or 3. the makeup party is cute, but I dont think its really appropriate for a shower. Plus, some women (myself included!) are super picky about makeup and colors. It could be really hard buying makeup for someone else!

I say go with 1 or 3 and have someone throw a Mary Kay party in your name so you can get pampered and people can buy you stuff you want right then and there if you like it!

I LOVE the date night theme, and may drop some hints to the girls planning mine!
