PS, I'm a pant size 18 and am 38 years old, and while I want to look sexy, I want to dress age-size-appropriate as well.

Hi ladies!
I'm getting married in September in a very non-traditional way. Everything about us and our wedding is non-traditional. I initially set out to find a non-tradtional dress, but can't find anything that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress, mother of the bride dress, or regular old cocktail dress (well, not within my budget anyway).
This is my second wedding, I've already done the big-fancy-dress thing. But it's also my last wedding, as I marrying my soul mate, and I want to look like a bride. I fell in love with the ever-gorgeous "all over beaded lace trumpet" gown 9T9612 at David's Bridal, but am still on the fence about it - part of me wants a dress I can re-wear, but how can I do that while still feeling like a bride?
If I had my way, I'd have something like the 9T9612 in black lace and champagne, or maybe silver satin underneath, and no train at all. But alas, that combination doesn't appear to exist.
Any ideas?
