If we don't use the organ at our church, I will want to use "Til Kingdom Come" by Coldplay. LOVE the idea of Bittersweet Symphony!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do love "The Feather Theme" from Forrest Gump (I actually learned how to play it on the violin when I was little)!
I think the key with processional instrumentals, is making it recognizable because the song is so distinctive. My friend had the intstrumental "Here Come's the Sun" by the Beattles played, and that Hawaiian version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow - take a listen

So, my wedding ceremony is not taking place in a church. After thinking for a while about the music for our ceremony processional, I have come to the conclusion that I don't want the traditional songs that you hear at a wedding for my processional...I am looking for something more modern and non-traditional.
Right now, some of the contenders are an instrumental version of "Bittersweet Symphony," "Love and some verses" by Iron and Wine, and the Forrest Gump theme song (the piano instrumental you hear when the feather is flying around the screen).
I'd love some input on if you have used/have heard some non-traditional songs used, what they were, and how you liked them...or if you have ideas of your own that you think would sound good!
