I want this dress to surprise my future hubby (for the reception). What size do you ladies think the model is wearing? I could swear we have the same figure except my hips may be a tiny bit wider. I talked to one of the customer service operators and they recommended a size 10 based on my measurements. I don’t think so! I don’t want to be wrong since I don’t think the gown can be altered with all the embellishments. Do you think the model is wearing a 4? I’m usually a 4. Lol sorry for the confusing question…I just don’t know what to do!

I would go off what the customer service operator suggests…dress sizes vary so much from designer to designer. That dress is fabulous by the way!

Did you look at their online size chart? It doesn’t seem to run small (comparing my measurements, I’m the size I usually am) so maybe check your measurements against that and order accordingly.

The gown can be taken in with those embellishments but there is absolutely no room for it to be let out- better to be safe than sorry!
Jovani runs pretty true to street size, however, the hip tends to run tight- be sure you order based off of your biggest measurement, not your smallest!

@Anna22: I too would go with what they suggest, gorgeous fit, love the shape

That dress is gorgeous! The model’s pretty tiny though, you might want to follow the operator’s advice.

Thanks everyone! I love it too!

In Australia a size ten is smaller than in America- I think it is plausible it COULD be a 10.
Plus, easier to size down if too big.

The model is stunning, she makes the dress look even more beautiful. I’ll just tell my dad to find a Jovani boutique and bring me the dress when he comes (there are no Jovani stores near me)…I know my dad will choose wisely, I don’t want to trust the online measurement guide. Thanks ladies!

There is no way to tell what size the model is wearing without knowing her measurements. You should go with what the customer service people say based on your measurements. Wedding gowns are typically bigger than street sizes. I wear a size 4 street size and my gown is 10 (although it will need to be taken in).
