Just looking for a gift suggestion. My sister-in-law got married at a small destination wedding in July. We went, and gave her a gift - my husband was in charge - and all he got her was a bottle of wine. (semi-pertinent info - this is her second wedding). Now her parent's are throwing her a "celebration" so they can invite their friends.
So - what should we get them? I thought our first gift was not enough - like I said I let my husband control. I'm thinking a card and a check. Should it be semi-equivalent to what I would have written for the wedding? I know my husband would say "nothing" - he's not mean he's just horrible at gifts (personal experience)...
Thoughts?
