StumbleUpon is a great website that will become your new addiction.
Yelp, PeopleofWalMart, Lamebook...
If you have some extra time on your hands, these should entertain you for a while.
Ooh thanks, those are good! I was laughing so hard reading some of those blogs. "Regretsy" about killed me, lol.
GAAHH! Me too! I find myself on here every spare second!!! It is starting to get to me--I need to get my mind off of weddings for a while!! :)
I like these sites:
thereifixedit.com
failblog.org
icanhascheezeburger.com
cakewrecks.blogspot.com (fyi--sometimes has wedding cakes, but usually they are b-day or other celebration cakes. The site is HILARIOUS!!)
Oh man, I'm glad I checked out this thread... awesome ideas! I've been looking at the Failbook site for the last like, 20 minutes, cracking up. Some people are just hilarious.
Cake Wrecks is a wicked site too.
You should check out http://1000awesomethings.com as well... the guy posts random things he finds awesome, and writes explanations. Insanely relatable... I'm sure you'll find tons on there that you'll enjoy.
I love lamebook, failblog, fmylife, etc. too! Another one I go on every once in a while for a good laugh is http://textsfromlastnight.com/. You really wonder about some people haha!
I know PP have mentioned these, but I have to second them - I love awkwardfamilyphotos.com and passiveaggressivenotes.com! Another hilarious one is hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com - there is one particular entry, "This is Why I'll Never Be an Adult" that makes me laugh every time!
I love so many of these.
Granted, this is wedding related, but I feel compelled to add:
I love Goodreads.com! You can create bookshelves, keep track of everything you've read, read and write reviews, join groups, etc... it's kind of a social networking site for book nerds :D
You guys are amazing. These are SO good!
OH AND GUESS WHAT? Please, everyone be proud of me for coming up with a completely technology-free, weddingless time-waster. Behold:

Yes.
I'm 25 going on 87... NBD.
I'm not sure if you're a bookworm, but I read. I love our local library and I go about once a week and sit with a book and a cup of coffee and veg.
Oooh, I love postsecret.com. They update every Sunday. :) People send in postcards with their secrets on them, and it's pretty fascinating.
damnyouautocorrect, not always right, sleeptalkingman, postsecret, peopleofwalmart, and if you have an open mind, liberal viewpoint & aren't easily grossed out, dan savages weekly column that comes out every wednesday. Do you watch Grey's? The writers have a blog (greyswriters) that they update after every new episode.
Another great site/message board is twop (television without pity). Pretty much every single TV show ever made has its own discussion board. It's awesome. It does take up to a week for them to approve you for posting, but anyone can read.
@Belle2Be: that's one of my absolute most favorite websites. i seriously cry when i look at it because i'm laughing so hard!
@Belle2Be: I think I need somthing less hilarious! Lol my boss is gonna know something's up if I'm sitting here snorting trying not to laugh with tears rolling down my cheeks!
@bebefly: Heading over to check those out!
I would also suggest stumbleupon!
@Belle2Be: yes!!! i remember when i discovered it i was at work convulsing and near tears. i actually had to get up and walk around a bit or i was just going to lose it!!! the sister in the shower one a few weeks ago put me over the edge!

I like to read web comics! especially if it is an established strip then I can read through like hundreds of pages and waste oodles of time.
questionablecontent.net is kinda like a sitcom, not stupendous, but funny and interesting at times. plus the art gets way way better as it goes.
@missmouse29: if you like web comics, Queen of Wands is really, really good. http://www.queenofwands.net/d/20020722.html
@missmouse29: Yea I love webcomics... I've been reading QC from the beginning and the artwork is SO different!
Octopus Pie is another really great webcomic.
I play the crossword, sudoku and other word games from USA Today! http://www.puzzles.usatoday.com

*Sigh*... I've been trying lately to avoid wedding stuff. Haven't been on the boards as much as usual, and trying to limit my Bee time to waiting stuff, but somehow the only other things that I end up being able to divert my attention to are the pricescope boards. GAH! (for those who don't know what I'm referring to, this basically equates to drooling over world-class, ridiculously amazing ring porn all the time) Not exactly great for taking my mind off waiting.
I know really what I should be doing is get my butt off the couch and quit wasting time on the internet. But, I still have my down time here and there, and I feel like I need to be weaned slowly! So, rather than giving myself worse wedding-brain than I really need right now, I'd like to find some NWR things that are fun online. Facebook isn't really doing it for me either lately (too many people popping out babies or getting married).
Any ideas, girls? Blogs? Shopping sites? Other forums that are fun? I know you guys will have some good ideas for me!
