I am going to have a friggin nervous breakdown!!!
So the day finally came…. the dress came in.
I just couldn’t wait to wear it. I pulled it out, along with the BM dresses, FG dress, and beautiful black trimmed swarovski studded veil…..
I put it on…
And all of my fears were confirmed 🙁
MY BUTT IS TOO BIG!!
That fact may please my fiance, but not me!
I am so upset! I tried to compromise and it seems nothing will ever work my way… First I lose my job, then I found out they wont refund my $3200 worth of deposits….. I thought I would be happy finally…. but no
My damn butt and hips gained curves over the summer, and although the rest of me is a 2, I need a 6 I’m sure just to fit me.
I want things to WORK OUT!!
I still want my AMARA ROYALE, but its so hard to sell these things.

I feel you girl – I have the same EXACT problem. Size 2 but size 6 in the butt/hips. I had to go with a ballgown because I hated how fitted the mermaids were on me. Please let me know if you figure out how to slim down the hips!!! Good Luck!

did you try it on before? it looks like a lovely dress. I hope it works out for you.

You have some time- there is a new noninvasive laser treatment called Zerona which is purported to be fairly effective at inch reduction. A good foundation garment can do wonders too- and you do have time to diet effectively and have the other parts of the dress altered. Good luck- I share your pearness.

Why don’t you put a corset in the back? that would give you the extra size.

Did you order this yourself or through a bridal salon? because if they ordered the wrong size for you then they have to reorder the right size
Post # 8
i’m sure there’s room at the seams to take it out a little

@bells: is that true of all bridal salons? they made me sign a waiver that said they will suggest a size but it’s ultimately up to me what to order so its not their responsibility if it’s the wrong size when it comes in. this made me kind of mad b/c they told me to get a 4 even though i was between 4 and 6.. but i trusted them b/c they are supposed to know best. so i am hoping for the best come april 🙂

@cherrycoke: Oh I didnt know that some stores have waivers? I just thought if they order the wrong size they have to reorder. My store didnt have a waiver

@bells: I didn’t think they did either, but when I ordered mine I had to sign it with a bunch of other info… like all sales or final, etc… b/c I called a couple days later b/c I was having regrets and they said nope since I already paid for it 🙁

@lwilliams107: :[ i’m sorry things aren’t going your way – hopefully they’ll turn around soon. you still have some time before your wedding, maybe you’ll shrink up a bit! if not, just start saving up a bit for alterations. things will look up, just take it in stride!

Oh no, I am so sorry! They can work miracles with alterations. Are you having them done at the shop, in idependently? I’d start talking with different people and see what your options are. I’m sure they can come up with something that will work.

You got a booty and curves, SMILE!
Your man loves you, SMILE!
Its going to be ok! BREATHE! & BELIEVE!
Take it to a few seamstresses and get their opinion and get ALL your options and go home and think about what suits your budget and needs! Everything WILL work out the way its meant to be!
Best of Luck!

I am not big at all, and in fact, I love my size!
I don’t think that I want to go on a diet FMILady but I do appreciate the advice
I am going to accept my new booty and all the stares that comes with it… I just hope that I can successfully sell this dress and end my dilemma once and for ALL!
IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW NEEDS GORGEOUS GOWNS in size 2! SEND THEM ON THIS WAY!
