Hi, all!
Inspired by Mrs. Pretzel's Seattle meetup on the blog today (and by some related chit-chat with missbiscuit), just trying to gauge interest for a NorCal/Bay Area meetup? I live in San Francisco but am down for whereva hereabouts.
That said, work is INSANE for me in January, so I'm thinking February or later.
Thoughts?

I live and work in the Peninsula/South Bay but I have a car and am fairly flexible within the Bay Area.
Wow. Sounds fund. I work in my firm's Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices, so I can totally meet in SF.
Let's try Feb, then :) I'll mebbe put a post together for the blog so non-Boards readers can have a look-see, too!

Ah, Redwood City. I used to live down there back in the day. Used to wait tables at a pizzeria in Redwood Shores. :)
heh I can't think of a pizzeria over there but I just had Ike's sandwiches for the first time a couple weeks ago and OMG. And I still haven't had 5 guys!
They're building a 5 guys near my office right now! Never had it before but I hear it's FANTASTIC! It was Amicis.
@arenyth: My coworker was telling me that the Ike's in Redwood City is supposed to be awesome, though I've been too lazy to head over there (I work in San Mateo).
@Entangled: the Ikes in redwood city makes no sense, haha. You have to order before you go, and its inside an office building, down the hall, in what looks like it should be an office, lol! There's always a line going down the hall, but it was so worth it. Delicious!
And I live in belmont, so weird how close some of us are! I love downtown San Mateo, we're always experimenting with sushi places.
@arenyth: oo, thanks for the warning. I knew it was in an office type place, but I didn't know you had to order online.
It is funny. A friend of mine works there (or maybe it's San Carlos). I actually rarely make it to San Mateo, since I live a little further south and am far too lazy, but I have a friend who really wants to move there.
Any news on the meetup? I am looking forward to it and would love to make it.

Update: possible meetup on the evening of 3/3 (for Bees and readers) in SF being discussed in another thread.
How's about we plan on meeting up there (will share details as they're available) and jump on another outing in April, perhaps?

I kept checking the SF board to see if there were any meet-ups going on and just so happened to pop over to Nor Cal and saw this thread! Most of those dates will work for me. Would love a meet-up!

Aaah! Wednesday 3/2 is pretty much the only day i can't make it :( Hopefully there will be another one soon, and if for some reason 3/2 doesn't work out, I'm free both the 11th and 18th :)
March is super busy for me, unless its towards the end of the month. (Our wedding and then minimoon happening over the 11th and 18th!) Or, as Taco said, maybe April? I'll be curious to see how this and the SF meetup schedule out... hopefully I can make at least one of them!
Gotcha, will regroup with another in April since it looks like 3/2 is a go!
