Hi Everyone! I am getting married at the Atrium in Norcross next April. I am looking for a good place to hold a rehearsal dinner for about 25 people. I am not looking to spend a lot of money, but having it at someone’s house would not be an option since I don’t live in Norcross.

I like Grace 17:20 and Zapata but I had not been to the new location at Zapata yet…….

In addition to the two Joyce mentioned above, here are a few others. Not sure what type of menu/feel you are looking for but these are a few I use for work lunches & events. I tried to list them by distance from your event venue.
In Downtown Norcross:
Dominick’s – http://www.dominicksitalian.com/index.html (Italian, nice space w/exposed brick walls)
Old Norcross Station – http://www.norcrossstation.com/ (casual Southern type place, has banquet room)
Other areas of Norcross:
HighLife http://www.hiliferestaurant.com/ (one of my faves for this area, great food, has banquet room)
Pappadeaux http://www.pappadeaux.com (right off I-85 at JCB/has banquet room)

We got married in Norcross and had our Rehearsal Dinner at Wildfire over near Perimeter Mall. It only took around 10 – 15 minutes for everyone to drive over there.
Our back-up was Paizano’s (spelling?) – the pizza place in historic Norcross.
We had originally considered the train station restaurant (was my first choice), but after having a really horrible dinner there (food was bad, service wasn’t great), I just couldn’t hold my rehearsal dinner there. Not to mention they wanted to charge us around $300 to put tableclothes (and small sets of flowers) on the tables in the area reserved for us. I just felt like I was going to be ripped off.
We love love love the food at Dominick’s, but there private room was too small for our group.

we love Dominics too…if you don’t mind driving, please try Sugo in Duluth! Not that far and their food is fabulous! Several large party rooms and such ambiance…love it love it love it!
Do check them out!

We just had our wedding at Lillian Webb Park in May, and we had our rehearsal dinner at Paizano’s! The owner of Domonick’s is the same as Paizano’s, and he’s super-friendly and helpful. If it weren’t for the fact that my husband and I are ‘regulars’ at Paizano’s, I’d tell you to go there. However, Dominick’s 1) is closer to the Atrium, and 2) has a great back room for all your guests. If you were at Paizano’s, you’d have to either share the space with the other patrons, or rent the entire restaurant.
Zapata is good and tasty, but their space lacks romantic ambiance. Mojito’s is really super, but they don’t have much space – even with their new back patio.
Honestly, since we live within walking distance of these places, I can tell you that none of the actual locals to to the train depot restaurant, Norcross Station. It is nice, though – and there is a lot of room and history inside!
Have a great wedding!
