I am not lucky enough to live in a city with Norstrom, but I love that place.  I have never shopped their bridal, but on the whole Nordstrom goes above and beyond in customer service and has GREAT stuff.  I’d totally go there for a 40% discount.

PS, when I retire from being a lawyer, I want to sell perfume there.  A 30% discount for life?????????

thats awesome to get 40% off but if I were you I would order a dress sooner than november and go with the 30% off… if you can?? I’m also getting married June 2015 and I have ordered my dress already. When I ordered they told me 6 months and now they are telling me 9 months. So that would be my only concern is timeline.<br />When looking for my dress I was on the phone with Nordstrom bridal and they lady was very nice and very informative.

I went and got a simple courthouse dress. But they were AWESOME! Now they carry Reem Acra, Hayley Paige, Bliss by Monique Lhullier, etc. So you should have a fantastic selection. I say GO FOR IT! Can’t beat a discount.

SweetBeets: It’s the only place I went to try on gowns. They are gorgeous and it was a nice experience. It’s worth checking out!

SweetBeets:  I did not have a good experience there. My consultant didn’t know what she was doing, and kept putting me in things I didn’t like. She wasn’t very warm or friendly. My friends ended up having to go pull dresses for me. Additionally, my FI wanted to deliver champagne the day before so I could be surprised while trying on dresses and Nordstrom was rude to him. He ended up bringing the champagne to the salon I went to after Nordstrom.

The dresses were beautiful, but my consultant didn’t clip me properly in any of them so I couldn’t actually see how it would look on me. I was disappointed with my experience. Of course each Nordstrom and each consultant are different so you might have a good experience.

Based on their reputation alone I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a dress there. And it might be a tad tight, but I’d think you could find a dress somewhere else if you don’t like their fall styles, and get it in time for June. I think I bought mine in January or Feb for an August wedding.
