My FSIL works there and I have heard her say that they are verrry lenient and have taken back things purchased like eveny 3 months ago
NO! they are AMAZING.
In fact, you can buy a pair of shoes, wear them, and a month later, if they still hurt, return them. Same goes for bras. I just bought a new bra there (ok back in December) and i told the lady that usually they get broken in after a month but sometimes they dno't, then i feel like i wasted my money. The saleslady said it woudln't be a problem at all for me to bring it back, used, explain that it simply never got more comfortable despite wearing it more often, and they'd refund my money or help me find a different one.
I've never once had an issue with Nordstrom. Their customer service has always been fantastic from what I've dealt with.
There is absolutely NO time limit on returns, as long as the tags are on and you have your receipt (or the paper that comes with an online order).
As far as I know they are not strict about returns at all. I know someone who bought a dress for prom from there and returned it 6 months later stained and wrinkled and they still took it! I think that was wrong of her, and hopefully not everyone abuses their lenience to that degree because it would be horrible if they suddenly became more strict with returns.
There is a saying in my family... "you can take your tires to Nordstroms and they will accept them and give you your money back"
Basically, you can take anything to them and they are gracious. I received a Juicy Couture bag from my darling man and a year later it was falling apart at the seams. I took it to Nordstroms to see if they know how to fix it and they offered to replace it with the current years bag! I walked out with a BRAND NEW bag and spent $3.37 on it (additional tax) it was really cool and I wasn't expecting it.
Just don't abuse their policy!
Yeah if people abuse it, we'll lose those perks!
I don't mind paying $95 for a bra if i KNOW i can take it back if it doesn't feel good in a month. =]
@ejs4y8: You're making me REALLY want to finally go bra shopping at Nordstrom, it's great that they'll actually do that. I guess I just need to get over the fact that someone might be seeing me all nudey, lol.

Does anyone know if there is a time limit to return items with a receipt to Nordstrom? I didn't think that there was a time limit, but I thought I saw something recently where it was like 30 or 60 days to return something. Am I imagining this?
