I don't want to scare you, but they might have to do a pre screening for toxemia (preeclamsia) or for gestational diabetes. It is normal to be sore, but more normal to be sick during that time.
that doesn't sound normal to me at all. You should try and talk to your dr. on the phone and see if you should come in before monday.
I second Janna. I believe that you should contact your doctor about this sooner than monday. It's probably fine, but you don't want to take chances with your health.
Pre-E and GD usually don't occur until later in pregnancy. Please make an appointment to see your OB.

I am at 12 weeks and have been beyond sore and I don't know if it's normal. Other than being tired all the time, I have noticed once I get out of bed I am moving like a 90 year old woman.
This is what I am feeling: swollen ankles, sore feet and fingers, my elbows hurt and I can barely lift anything. (even taking milk out of the fridge hurts, I can barely do it)... Is this normal? I have an appointment Monday and I plan on bringing these concerns up. (note: I have been monitoring my sodium intake thinking that could be the problem)
