i got married in Salem but not at colonial hall.
it was GREAT for out of town guests. there were lots of activities and they could walk to our venue from their hotels. they didnt even have to rent cars. they all went to places like the peabody essex museum during the day and all the other fun attractions.
I've heard good things about both places...I'm getting married in Salem too, but at the Waterfront Hotel.
@shoegal515: Hi I know Colonial Hall has wonderful weddings. I went to two so far and everything was perfect. My most recent visit was a christening that could've been a wedding it was so elegant. Hope you have luck.

Hi Everyone! I wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on ethier of these 2 venues? By the looks of their sites, I really like the look of the ballroom (I'm anti rugs) and they happen to be within my budget. Thank you!
