pinksavage: Why not do a restaurant buy out? You might be able to get a $15k bill that way, which is just under budget? Can you give us more details, because there’s Northern California Sac, up near the border or CA / WA, Carmel… how far are you willing to travel / big a geographic area that is acceptable.

My venue is an outdoor venue that is BYOB / BYOC that is $10k to rent the venue. Unfortunately, that seems to be market rate in the area that I’m looking.

Contento Vineyard in Hoptown (2.25 hours north of SF) is 7k and BYO. Not sure if that’s interesting to you.

Gold Hill Gardens in Newcastle is fantastic! I JUST posted my recap – the place is stunning, the owners are amazing – and their price is . . . well, they should probably charge triple or quadruple what they do. It’s all BYO, but they have tables and chairs, a couple of gorgeous ceremony sites, and the 33-acre estate is absolutely phenomenal.

pinksavage:  That budget is probably doable at Gold Hill Gardens.

pinksavage:  Especially if you have an amazing caterer friend – that budget is workable. GHG is . . . well, the pictures just don’t do it justice. I hope it works out for you, and when you get in touch with them, please tell them I sent you (the people from the June 21 wedding, since they don’t know me by my screenname). Good luck!
