Tell us more!

We’ve got the gorgeous redwoods all the way up in Arcata/Eureka, lots of beautiful redwoods/forests in the Mendocino area, wine tasting galore in Sonoma, Napa, and Livermore areas.  And of course, the cool city of SF.

So:

– Where in Northern CA do you want be?

– What type of venue?  (Winery, golf course, anything?)

And remember, the closer to the big cities you are, the more hotel and vendor options you’ll have.

@AngTea:  How small is small? What is your overall budget?

There is an amazing restaurant called Nepenthe’s right on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Big Sur. They have a gorgeous space for smaller parties and a larger patio for parties up to 80 or so I believe.

It was a definite contender for our wedding but unfortunately our guest list was too large.

In Monterey there is Lover’s Point (outdoor beautiful park) that is always available for weddings. While staying at a hotel across the street I had the pleasure of spying on several weddings for each day of our stay.
