Thank you so much!! this is really the type of place we're looking for - a perfect backdrop to an intimate/whimsical affair for ~120 guests. optional outdoor ceremony is great too.
other suggestions welcome... it's hard to find a place with no carpet! T.T and we're trying to stay as close to manhattan / bergen county NJ as possible.

This is the venue we booked for next year. It was different from the other venues we looked at and we really fell in love with it! They do have area rugs in the bridal suite and the front parlors.
@fozzyb79: thank is really gorgeous! i love the cottage-like, garden look. it's so intimate.

hi bees! first post - help!!
planning a northern jersey or hudson valley wedding for june 2012, approx ~120 people. i really really want to avoid a reception area with a carpet or rug. i'd like as much of a raw space as possible.
outdoor ceremony / garden would also be ideal.
any suggestions!?
