ashm:  If you want to give me a bit more info, I might have a recommendation…NorthWest as in West side of Cleveland?! Because we just had our completely amazing reception at Springvale Ballroom, located in North Olmsted.  High ceilings, all-inclusive package (with service options), and really really easy to work with, at a pretty ‘cheap’ cost too.

The Oasis Event Center in downtown Toledo is beautiful! Looks out onto the River. Nice high ceilings (not sure about chandeliers, though). If we hadn’t already booked our venue in Ann Arbor, I’d seriously consider booking there! Also, the Maumee Bay Lodge is just gorgeous.

Also, if you can get to a bridal showcase here, I highly recommend it. I went to one at the Stranahan in January and there were tons of reps from different venues in the area, a lot of which I’d never heard of (granted, I knew I was getting married in MI so I hadn’t spent much time on Toledo venues). There’s also the Pinnacle in Maumee, the Hilton in Perrysburg, the Botanical Gardens, the zoo, or UT.

I highly suggest the Toledo Club. They definitely have high ceilings and amazing crystal chandeliers!  That’s where I’m having my wedding reception next week. You can have the wedding ceremony there too, we are just having it at our church.
