@MichiganGirl24:  I used to take this, but stopped due to a hyperpigmentation that developed on my forehead.  I don’t know for sure that it was because of the bc (I was in a bad accident a few months prior and my body was going haywire because of all the damage anyways and hyperpigmentation CAN be due to body stress, which my body was definitely under.  I stopped taking Nortrel and within a few months my hyperpigmentation lighted up a lot.  I still see it, but no one else notices it.  I’m now taking Lo-Loestrin.

@MichiganGirl24:  lol! We all have our little things…i totally get it! Good luck!  I went to the dermatologist so I can can my skin to clear up before next spring, so i’m in a very similiar boat as you!

I’ve been on Nortrel for the past… seven years? When I first started taking it I got mood swings but now I am (obviously) completely fine. I get short periods also!
