Do you ever stop and think back to those first few days when you first started flirting with your fiance?  I think I get so distracted sometimes with the wedding and our new house that I forget how magical that was.  Thinking about it makes me feel all tingly.

Do you ever think back to those initial days when you would live by your phone waiting for a flirty text from him or spend hours thinking about what you would wear when you would see him?

AH I think about it all the time! He does too!

Not that things have died down (ha obviously we're getting married!) but we're more comfortable with each other now, so not so jumpy and twitterpated :)

Sometimes we will talk about those days and then we cut ourselves off because it sounds like we are comparing then and now in a "We used to be so (fun, spontaneous, physical, etc.)" kind of a way.  But it's so nice to think about where you were and where you ended up!

lol we both reminisce about our first weekend away together... or the nights when we'd talk for 5 hours on the phone. Sigh... those were wonderful days. As I'm thinkinging back, it was fun & exciting, but I kind of love where we are. Before, we were both insecure & unsure about where it was going. There's something so amazing about knowing I have a future with this man, that one day he'll be the father of my children, etc, etc.

Back then was special, but the time now is the most important in our relationship!

Thats enough mush... I'm not usually like this. lol

We were long distance, and he was in an area where cell phones didn't work. I watched the clock EVERY NIGHT waiting for 9 to roll around so I could call him with my free minuets. We'd talk for hours! And during the day I couldn't wait until I got an e-mail from him.

Don't really miss only seeing each other every 5 or 6 weeks (that was when we were lucky) though.

I miss it because it's one of the best feelings ever, and knowing what I know now, I'd love to go back and do it again! But, honestly, I'm even happier in our relationship now :)

I still have the same sense of wonder I had then....that this was really happening to me, this was it, this was my man....it's been 1.5 years, and I still feel that way!
