I’m driving myself crazy with this…what if I don’t have enough seating/supplies for everyone? Do you always plan more seating then how many people are coming? My hubby has a very large family, not all are invited because they’re distant family, but I’m thinking someone else will say “sure, come on, they won’t care if you show up”. This is driving me insane. I don’t want to waste money on extras that may not even be needed. After going to all the trouble planning and doing, I don’t want to have to set up an extra undecorated table and provide paper plates…it just ruins the overall picture of the wedding. If it was a backyard party where I didn’t have to account for the nicer items (crystal galsses, china, silver ware, table decor) it wouldn’t be so bad, but I’m renting these things and don’t plan to waste $ on extras. Should I just go ahead and set an extra table for the uninvited guests? I just hate spending the $ because people are just plain rude. I told hubby I feel like locking the doors and waving at anyone who just drops in…& when the wedding is over then they can come in and enjoy the leftovers. I know that sounds mean, but my gosh. Thanks for any help.
