DO NOT WORRY! Not one bit! It’s a gorgeous beautiful beautiful ring! I love halos personally and the side view of that ring is spectacular! I think it perfectly matches the ring because it helps balance out the diamond sides of the setting. It’s got a nice flow and design with a hidden diamond. perfect! How would you change it? What don’t you like about it?

Also, do you think this could be just a feeling because you are second guessing your choice? like the “this is it” final decision-ness of this ring? I only ask because I started second guessing my ring too while it was being made (LONG 4 weeks). I was thinking maybe I should have gotten a plain solitare instead. maybe i should have gotten platinum. maybe i should have let him choose it on his own with no input….etc etc…. But then once he proposed and I had it on my finger. NOTHING else felt right to me. This is my ring and I knew it!

Be confident in your choice!

It’s beautiful!  What don’t you like about it exactly? The halo looks great!

That setting looks really beautiful. You might like the ring from the side better once there is a center stone in it. Until then the halo is the focus of the ring so it is easy to focus on it.

I think it looks great, especially the side view!

@jazinlove: If it’s just that you don’t like the U-Prong look, easy fix! All you need to do is take it back and then can make it more a shared prong look or have them fill in the sides. It might make the halo a smidge more bulky though… no worries, you can fix that without sacrificing the style and setting. minor detail!

“You’re crazy!”

How often do you have free permission to tell someone that?

It’s gorgeous.

oh and I actually really love the side view and how the “U” shape really shows off the whole diamond of the halo.

I think once you get it, you’ll absolutely fall in love with it.

It’s an absolutely gorgeous ring. But you might want to lay off the ring pics a little. I sent my guy a pic of my dream ring a while back but every once in a while I see a ring on here that makes me think, “Wait, maybe this one is my dream ring, maybe I should have sent him this instead.” I know our situations are different in that you actually have a ring and mine is hypothetical. But the more you think about something, the more you can sometimes second guess every initial opinion you had. Buuuut….if it does truly bother you and has since day one, I’m sure, like the other ladies said, it would be an easy fix and if you had it custom designed I can’t see a reason you can’t change this one small detail.

But it’s beautiful. Don’t worry. ๐Ÿ™‚

is it just the side view that bothers you? because i’m pretty sure you’ll mostly be seeing it from the top, so i wouldn’t worry too much about that. plus, if it helps, i think that the side view of the halo looks like a tiny crown. ๐Ÿ˜€
