- Wedding: December 1969
Ok Hive, My wedding invitations went out last month for my July 2009 wedding. We’ve gotten about half of the responces back with a RSVP deadline of June 12. We cant wait to see our guests at the wedding!
This is a super exciting year me. Before we get married I am finishing all of my corse work and graduating with my BA. Due to timing issues, we are not really celebrating in the traditional sense. No party, and I am actually now even walking in the ceremony. That being said, I am still very excited to be finished with my undergraduate career. I had announcements printed up that list my school, name, major/minor, and "will receive her BA at the conclusion of Spring Quarter 2009". I ordered 25 and only want to send them to family and close friends.
How can I let these people know that I am not begging for gifts/money? I really want these people to share in the excitement that I am graduating, because that is a pretty big deal. I dont want people to open up the envelopes and think "didn’t we JUST get a wedding/bridal shower invitation for her?? does she want MORE??" I just want them to be happy and know that I’ve passed this milestone in my life!
Should I include some sort of note inside of the announcement? Or write something on the backside of the wallet photo I am sending everyone?
