All weekend I have had nausea and indigestion. A few times I have had a few small cramps.  My husband and I were not trying to get pregnant, and I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning (negative), but my period isn't scheduled to start until tomorrow.  Earlier today I went home from work after having a racing pulse, two sharp chest pains, and just plain not feeling well.  Right now I am sitting on the couch feeling like I want to throw up.  Over the past few days I have had slight headaches, and a few other symptoms, such as a little cervical fluid yesterday.  My husband and I are using FAM/NFP to prevent pregnancy, but had a few high temps that had cervical fluid, then my temps dropped for a few days before raising and staying above the coverline.  However, when the second temp rise happened, no cervical fluid.  

It's a little daunting, but amazing to think that I might be pregnant! My husband is coming home from work early today so that he can go with me to a dr appt to see if it's just a stomache bug or possibly something much bigger....

Not sure why I am writing this out here, but probably because you ladies are all so supportive and I can't say anything to the people I work with yet.  Ugh, I just want to know!

I know its tough but you should wait and do a home pregnancy test again in a few days.  It is possible that the one you took didn't work but typically they do within 5 days before your missed period.

Since we're going to the dr later today, she may decide to just do a blood test to make sure.  I don't know.  We went over a long list of symptoms last night and over the last few days I have felt probably close to half of them.  If we are pregnant yay, if not, we'll wait until September which is when we really wanted to TTC.

Just an FYI, most dr. offices don't do a blood confirmation test.  They just do a urine test like a home pregnancy test because they are just as reliable.  It also is typically cheaper!

Thanks.  Just to add to everything earlier, I'm also a recently diagnosed diabetic, and if there is any chance that I am pregnant the dr said we'll need to figure it out ASAP as there are potential complications with that.

stomach bug and period showed up 2 days late which was unusual as we are very careful with charting.  looks like the stress got to me!
