@An-chan:  I just thought what about UK designer Kitty and Dulcie? Great designer and great prices. Ive always adored their dress pearly queen. The prices are so reasonable I think it would definitely be worth shipping it internationally

Dame Dulcie??

@An-chan:  Take a look at some of the Jasmines Bridal threads on here.  They make some amazing replicas and even the owner (I think) frequents the boards often to help solve any problems or what have you.  You just have to keep in mind the can’t duplicate the dress.  So there will be something different about it.  Id say check them out and even send them a request for a price on their website.  I’ve seen some bad reviews but I have seen more good than bad.  And I’m the person who actively searches for the bad.  I’m such a negative nancy.

I was about to post about the same kind of topic.  Only problem is I haven’t tried on any gowns.  I’ve only searched online.  Making plans to literally go shop for dresses in March though.  Hope my advice helps!

I seen one similar (minus the belt) in White Room Bridal Boutique in Cornwall, UK.

My friend had a similar problem so she bought a full-length a-line dress and had it shortened to tea length. It gave her a lot more options and turned out great!

@An-chan:  I would see if JBS can make it for you.  They do really nice work, and it probably wouldn”t cost too much.  Beatiful dress BTW

@An-chan:  won’t hurt to ask.  I was told they aren’t doing changes, or rather not told but read.  But it won’t hurt to ask at all.  Good luck!  Do keep in mind that they take a bit to respond to emails.  But I think they have some new thing up where its almost like an e card request and a chat room put together.  I’m not sure of the web address for it though.

@An-chan:  Stephenie James Couture. Her dresses are ACTUALLY perfect.

Also, remember that you can make ANY dress tea-length with a seamstress! (I shortened a ballgown to tea-length for my dancing dress, and it was under $100 on Etsy!)
