Ok so i like most of my family & i plan on inviting them all. but i dont want to invite my cousin.
Shes an attention seeker ( & when i say attention seeker i mean she faked a pregnancy & said it was “Jesus’ baby” & such).
im just scared that she’s gunna show up & do something to get attention. But if i dont invite her most likely she will show up anyways. what should i do?

Invite her, unless you aren’t inviting other cousins. Singling someone out is generally not a good idea, especially when it is just that you don’t care for their personality rather than that they’ve done something really horrible to you.

If she creates a scene,
a) it’ll never take attention from you and she’ll just look foolish
b) in weddings there’s only good moments and moments that become good stories. So whatever she does, it’ll be something laugh about in a few years.

I have a similar situation with a family member. I’m not inviting her. Long story short she calls her siblings drunk at all hours of the night telling them in-depth lies to get attention. Everyone knows she’s obviously got issues and I am writing her out of my life. I’m not letting the family I love become stressed over her at the wedding.

I really feel for you. I’ve got an uncle like that and I don’t want to invite him. My mom is making me though. Good luck…

@sapphirebride: well she faked a miscarrage right after i had one because she felt i was getting attention. i would just rather not have her think i include her as family =
