not sure if this is a form of the post-wedding blues…I do feel the need to have "a project", but I have no interest in picking my photos or scrapbooking or even filling in the special wedding "journals" I bought..
I have launched straight into nesting and baby fantasizing, but I worry I won’t get around to it, or I’ll forget things from that time if I don’t do it soon! Maybe after the semester is OVER!
.anyone else feel this way?

I am having that problem! I looked at all my photos and thought ‘blah’. I am suppose to do bridals (i waited after the wedding so I wouldn’t mess up the dress) and I really do not want to mess with it. I am leaning towards not doing them

you should do a trash the dress instead if your photog will let you switch…even if you use another dress!

Nope, not blues. It’s perfertly normal. In fact, it’s common, verry, very, common. Several of my colleagues have clients that take months and years to pick out photos for their pre-paid album. The album that they paid thousands of dollars for. I prevent most of that by pre-designing the album and showing that to my couples before they look through all the proofs. Then all they have to do is say yay or nay, with maybe a few tweaks.
Brides are always excited before the wedding. When we discuss album ordering deadlines, they never think they will take anywhere near the deadlines (most photographers use 6 months to a year). And with the popularity of digital files over the years, I’m sure there are lots of couples who never got around to doing anything with their CD. I hope they back them up in a seperate location and make copies every few years because digital media doesn’t last forever.

it has been 6 months since my wedding and i have yet to choose pics for my pro album. choosing my photos is the very last decision i have to make for the wedding…after i choose the pics, that means it’s finally over – and that makes me a little sad! i’m right there with you!

I need to get my wedding video done since we are planning to have it in time for Labor day weekend to take to my husband’s grandma in Wisconsin (she couldn’t make it to the wedding). We have not done a damn thing!
I’m probably going to have to shift gears soon since they need 2-3 months to finish the video from the time they get all the info from us.
