um… start DIY’ing?

I think for me I’m mostly trying to get stuff outta the way so I’ll have time to actually do my DIYs when it comes down to it.

That happened to me – I booked all the vendors early on and had this lull for a few months not really knowing if there was something I was missing. Now with a little less than 2 months to go, I suddenly realized I had to dig into all the details. My big thing right now is music and picking songs for the ceremony, first dance, etc…or things like BM and grooms gifts…favors…place cards…so if you have the time and you haven’t dug into the details, that’s the next big thing. And as daydreamwanderer said, you can always start DIYing – when it comes to crunch time you’ll be happy to have it already done.

I am right there with you!  All of our major vendors are booked and I’m done with all the little things.  I really want to start addressing envelopes and stuffing invitations though I know I should wait just in case someone moves.  Plus I’d be tempted to mail them, I got teased for sending my save the dates this past May.

I’m not quiteas far along, but I do have all vendors booked and I’m kind of at a stand still right now. πŸ™‚

Awww I am the opposite. I was way ahead of the game then I stalled out when we were getting ready to move and I can’t seem to get back into the swing of it. I lost my motivation and can’t make up my mind on what I want for more than a day or two!

Me too!! Since we are having a destination wedding, almost all of it’s planned already.  The only big thing left is our invitations, but even they aren’t going out till between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Way to go!

Start DIYing and thinking about all the little details (what needs to happen and when the week of and day of your wedding)!
