I love this web site and have been using it as my go to for the upcoming wedding! We have decided we are going to start trying shortly after we get married so i have been doing a lot of research and starting to not only get fit for the wedding but also a future pregnancy.

Anyways one fun thing i have been doing is looking at baby stuff! :) So im wondering what what mamabees think about strollers? What is your favorite? What ones do you hate??

Here are some i have been looking at:

http://shop.jackandlola.ca/BJ-89260.html  it can become a double!...we are hoping to be blessed with are kids about 2 years apart.

http://shop.jackandlola.ca/GT-325070.html i love the look of it AND that you dont have to buy a bassinet AS WELL.

http://shop.jackandlola.ca/M%26P.10372531.html this one is just too cool looking!

http://shop.philandteds.com/smart-bundle ....i just like it! haha

I'm not a mom, but I used to have a lot of fun looking at baby stuff when my FI's SIL was pregnant last year. After looking at all of that stuff and getting excited for our new nephew I came to the conclusion that pram strollers seem to be a great idea. That second one you posted looks like a nice one. I think I've always liked the idea of having the baby be able to see you while you are pushing him/her for some reason.

@pyma: As far as the expense goes, I think it would depend on how much use you would be getting out of something. For instance, my FI and I plan on having 3 kids so spending that kind of money to use on three kids is not too shabby in my book. So long as it's durable anyway... My family is huge too so I'm sure there will always be somebody who could be interested in taking it when I'm done.

Oh and I even got my FI looking at baby stuff for the heck of it when his SIL was expecting. He was sitting at the computer giving me opinions on nursery stuff I was looking at lol. I just think it's nice to dream even if it's a long term goal. After all I'm sure prior to getting engaged most ladies on this site were probably having fun looking at wedding stuff just to drool over it.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what your first link is to.  But I can give you my stroller insight!  Keep in mind, I am about to become a FTM, so I haven't personally used these day to day, but I did do a TON of research before registering.  Ultimately, my husband and I decided on the Britax B-Ready stroller.   The reasons I like this stroller:

    • fits very well with the Britax Chaperone infant car seat which has very high safety ratings and is the seat we picked.  This seems to eliminate the need for a snap and go type stroller as well (the seat on the b-ready comes out and is replaced by infant car seat).
    • Has bassinet option.  Not really sure if we will need this, but we registered for it and someone bought it for us.
    • Has ability to become double stroller.  We also plan on having more than one, and probably sooner rather than later, so this was a very big selling point for me.
    • Has a great brake system, you step to lock and and unlock the brakes, no lifting with your toe.

We compared this stroller to the Uppa Baby and the City Select.  All three are very similar but we decided on this one over the others for a few reasons.  The uppa is much more expensive and pretty much the same.  I didn't love the handle on the City and I didn't like the way the infant seat fit in.  I did really like the doubles configuration on the City though.  One website that I loved for video reviews of strollers is www.babygizmo.com

Another great thing about the B-Ready is that you can get it for around $400 on Amazon (usually retails for $499).

I love looking at baby stuff too! (not pg yet). I've already found a stroller I love http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Wave-Stroller-Urban/dp/B002WB2GLQ

I think it's great finding things now, just have to make sure there are no recalls before I buy when we do get pg. Laughing

@MzMarzipan: I agree, I loved researching mostly strollers before we were even TTC.  I was in love with the UBV (UppaBaby Vista).

We ended up with the Britax B-Ready because for $400 we got the car seat and the stroller.  I think the Chicco travel systems at BRU run about $300, so for the extra $100 we were happy because we got the option of adding a second seat and a reversible seat.

I loved the idea of the bassinet but in the end, it just wasn't something that I was willing to spend extra money on.  We have a pack and play that we will keep in our bedroom as a second bed for LO until he/she is ready for the crib.

PS, the new UppaBaby Cruz and Britax B-Agile look neat too but haven't seen them in person or heard many reviews.
