A tiny little blue-tailed skink! Awww, he’s cute!
(Pardon the dirty background, we caught him by scooping him up into a dust-pan.)
(I know the Bees from places like Florida are probably laughing at me, but we don’t see a lot of lizards here in Kansas/Missouri!)

He IS cute! That reminds me of a couple of months ago when I was driving around… I looked out of my rearview mirror, and saw a tiny head peering up from my speaker. It was a lizard about that size!
What sucks for him was that a bass-heavy Ke$ha song started playing, and he started rattling around the window deck. I turned off the music, but you could tell he was obviously disturbed by it.
I eventually got to my destination, and caught him in some tupperware & set him free in a field. I have no idea how that guy got in my CAR of all places. Hitch-hiker Stowaway!…

I love lizards! They’re everywhere out here but I still get so excited when I see them.

I almost didn’t click this because I thought it would be spider related lol. Such a cute little guy though, I am relieved 🙂

I love lizards!
He’s a five-lined skink. The juveniles have blue tails.
