(Closed) Not really happy with my wedding photographs…

I didn’t have an experience like this, but I also chose my photographer based on loving past weddings she had shot, sent her examples of photos we loved, and had a list of pictures I really wanted to be taken. It doesn’t sound like you did any of these things, so unfortunately it’s not super surprising this happened – still feel bad for you of course, it’s not like you can re-do those photos, but maybe some guests got pictures of the entrance and stuff? The sneak peeks were our best photos too, I think that’s pretty typical.

 

However, his comment about not editing your photos because you’re a graphic designer and could do it yourself would NOT fly with me. If your contract says you’re getting edited photos, he needs to edit them! Your wedding was in January, why did it take so long for him to send you your pics if they’re un-edited? I would insist that he go back and edit them, and that although you may be capable of doing it yourself you do not have the time, it’s not your specialty like it is his, and it is part of the service you paid him for (as stated in your contract!)
